I am Sukaina Bhojani, a Registered Psychotherapist. I am a compassionate and dedicated professional with a background in counseling from the University of Cambridge, UK, and additional training from Canada.

My journey into psychotherapy was sparked by a personal experience that revealed the profound benefits of counseling. This led me to pursue formal education and make counseling my career. I adopt an integrative approach with a trauma-informed perspective to assist adults and teenagers in navigating life’s challenges.

I am a mother of two energetic boys, cherishing spending time outdoors, walking in nature, and finding solace in its serenity.

My name is Naila Dewji and I am a registered psychotherapist (qualifying). I earned my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and my Bachelors of Science from the University of Toronto.

Before transitioning into psychotherapy I worked in healthcare and multiple supportive services, which gave me a unique insight into mental health and wellbeing. I like to use evidence-based integrative approaches tailored to fit the individual needs of my clients. I currently live in Toronto with my husband and three daughters (12,10,6). I love to read, cook and occasionally DIY things around my house.

Salāmun ʿAlaykum!

My name is Rida Fatima and I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). I graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science degree, with a double major in Psychology and Health Studies. I also completed my Masters in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.

The mental health field has been a passion of mine since high school as I worked and volunteered in various mental health facilities, such as hospitals, kids rehab center and different clinics. Furthermore, from my past roles as a Special Needs Teacher, Crisis Line Responder and Mental Health Counsellor, my interest in the field of counselling grew when I noticed a lack of awareness in the South Asian communities and importance given to an individual’s mental health, as well as the ways it could impact their quality of life. Therefore, one of my goal is to remove the stigma attached to the mental health care and help individuals reach their highest potential.

Choosing to start therapy can feel intimidating and overwhelming, however, my aim is to make this process as comfortable as possible. Through my work, my desire is to build a strong collaborative relationship with my clients and provide them with a safe, respectful and non-judgmental environment in which stories and life experiences can be discussed. I highly value a client-centered approach; therefore, we will construct a treatment plan which is unique to every individual’s needs, goals and strengths.

We will collaboratively work together at examining the underlying causes for the problems you may be experiencing and subsequently discuss steps on how to tackle them. In addition, my aim will be to help you recognize your strengths and assist you to focus on self-care to gain the self-confidence in facing life challenges.

If you sense that you are prepared to commence on a journey towards prosperity and better mental health, then I aspire to connect with you towards this constructive change. (As per the command of Allah in Sūrah al-Māʾidah, Verse # 2 to help one another in righteousness and piety).

As-Sallam Alykum! My name is Zainab. I am a Registered Psychotherapist, registered with the CRPO (College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario).

I work with individuals coping with a range of psychological issues including but not limited to; anxiety, depression, trauma and grief & bereavement. I apply an assortment of approaches to therapy including; Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, Polyvagal Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy. By integrating these approaches holistically with a faith-based approach, I believe the journey towards positive change is possible and achievable!

I take the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist very seriously. During our initial assessment, we gather information that is crucial in targeting the symptoms you are coping with. This is followed by formulating a customised treatment plan that is unique to each client. In doing so, we are facilitating focused sessions that not only target the maladaptive symptoms one is facing, but also respect the clients time.

In addition to developing well-informed treatment plans, I firmly believe in the level of comfort and trust a client feels within the therapeutic relationship. Establishing this with each client is paramount to the success of therapy and increases the potential of positive outcomes! You are not a “file number”, you are a soul.

I would consider myself privileged to be granted the opportunity to help you along your mental wellness journey!
